INSPIRATION, LIFE

A Personal Affair

9 May 2014

Hi guys,

I don’t know about you, but I often feel swamped with work related affairs – especially these past few months due to a few important projects coming up that I need to be entirely focused for and in great mental shape.

This said, I always make sure to allocate some “me time” to escape away from it all and I recently started having one-on-one lunches and tea dates with my assistant.

We’re two years apart and get along like a house on fire so it comes naturally to us to spend extra personal time together out of the office environment .

These shots were taken in April during a surprise lunch I organized for her -my way of showing my gratitude for her unwavering assistance & panache!

I chose an Italian setting for our girls-only lunch – Esquisito, a high quality Italian deli situated in Levallois.
The place is conveniently located just across from my favorite flower shop, “HAPPY”.

The menu is simply exquisite ranging from the typical italian anti-past and salads to their fresh pastas al dente, tarts, Panacotta and of course their famous tiramisu!

From time to time they serve innovative dishes like pasta in truffle or Chanterelle mushroom sauce or the duck liver Marsala. Deeee-vine!
You can also sit in or take-it-go.

The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location. Expect to pay between 10 and 15€ depending on your meal choice.

– main course : Fresh homemade potato Gnocchi in organic tomato & basilica sauce
– dessert : lemon tart & strawberry tart
